I got sick and have been in hospital for almost a week. My husband visits me every day and cooks my favorite dishes. But I feel very sorry for my wardmate. Her husband came only once, brought nothing, and asked for money. I once found out in a conversation what she likes, and then I asked my husband to get it. So, next time he brought food not only for me, but also for her. He brought lasagna and she ate it almost with tears in her eyes. I’ll be discharged soon, but I’ve written down a few more of her favorite dishes, and I’ll be visiting. © Mamdarinka / VK

Story 6:
I went to the grocery shop. A cheerful song was playing in my earphones, and then I heard someone calling me. I turn round: there’s an old lady with huge bags. I think she’s going to ask me to carry the bags. But she doesn’t. I pull out my earphones and hear her saying, “I don’t have money for bread.” I refuse, but I notice tears in her eyes. Nodding sadly, she says, “All right then, I’ll make do.” I’ve never felt so lousy in my life. After walking a few yards, I turned around and ran back to her, handing her the money I wanted to spend on food for myself. A lot of people might say that it’s still unclear what she’ll spend it on, but somehow I’m sure she’ll buy herself something to eat. I went to the shop because I wanted to buy some goodies, even though the fridge was full, and she was collecting cans to buy some bread. © Overheard / Ideer

She used my license to find me on Facebook so she could message me and return the wallet and cards. She was such a blessing! © Sufficient_Wafer6322 / Reddit

Story 13:
Our children’s group has the nicest teacher. She is great at motivating children and making them proud of themselves and their achievements. She keeps all their drawings, and when they get much better at drawing she shows their old drawings to them, saying, “Look how good you are. You used to do it like this, but now you’re doing much better. See what you’ve achieved?” Thanks to her, the whole group knows that you can learn anything, the main thing is patience and constant practice. © Mamdarinka / VK
