Donald Trump fans spot worrying detail in latest picture of president as questions are raised

People are commenting on a worrisome photograph of the president.

Fans of Donald Trump have noticed a troubling detail in a recent photo of the president.

Trump met with Emmanuel Macron on Monday (February 24), the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

During their encounter, the two shook hands multiple times, prompting a few of Trump supporters to detect something alarming about the president’s hand.

Many people have commented on Trump’s apparent ‘bruise’ on the back of his hand, as well as the supposed make-up applied to disguise it.

One person wrote on X: “Scrolling Getty and couldn’t help but notice this photo of a huge bruise on Trump’s hand today.”

While another said: “Some photos over the last few months show bruising on Trump’s hand… Always seems to be on the same hand.”

And a third added: “Trump has a massive bruise on the back of his right hand. How did he get that?”

While a fourth asked: “Why does Trump have a big bruise on the right hand?”

A shot of the bruise on Getty Images is characterized as ‘covered with make-up’.

“Makeup covers a bruise on the back of U.S. President Donald Trump’s hand as he hosts French President Emmanuel Macron for meetings at the White House,” the description reads.

It’s unclear what caused the bruise, but it’s been seen on Trump’s hand previously and in previous photos of the president.

During Trump’s meeting with Macron, the French president was forced to fact-check the 78-year-old Republican leader as he attempted to claim that Ukraine had taken advantage of US support during its defense against Russia, with Trump claiming it was now time for the US to be reimbursed during a press conference in Washington.

In an interview, Macron told reporters: “This war cost all of us a lot of money, and this is the responsibility of Russia because the aggressor is Russia.”

Trump then interjected, stating with total confidence that EU aid to Ukraine was all in the form of loans: “Just so you understand, Europe is loaning the money to Ukraine. They get their money back.”

It was at this point that Macron interrupted Trump by placing his hand on his wrist as he said: “No. To be frank, we paid 60 percent of the total effort. Like the US, loans, guarantees, grants, and we provided real money.”

He added: “If at the end of the negotiation, they are ready to give it to us, super, it will loan at the end of the day, and we will have paid for that.”

“If you believe that, it’s OK with me,” Trump then sheepishly replied, before maintaining his initial claim: “But they get their money back and we don’t.”
