A man who says he is the ‘secret son’ of King Charles and Queen Camilla has posted a photo of his daughter, and many people are commenting on her resemblance to Princess Charlotte.
Simon Charles Dorante-Day, an Australian resident, has attracted media coverage with his viral story, firmly believing that he is the secret love child of the royal couple.
He was born in 1966 in England and was adopted by a family at a young age, and now he’s on a mission to prove his heritage.
In order to spread his message, Dorante-Day has shared an ‘uncanny’ photo of his daughter beside the granddaughter of King Charles.
Dorante-Day has previously claimed that his adoptive grandmother—allegedly a former staff member of the late Queen Elizabeth II—revealed on her deathbed that he was the child of King Charles and Queen Camilla, according to MailOnline.
At the time of his birth, Charles and Camilla would have been 17 and 18 years old, respectively.
However, his assertions contradict official records, which indicate the royal couple met five years later.
The royal family has remained completely silent on Dorante-Day’s claims.
He continues to gain support through his Facebook page, where he regularly posts photos and personal updates.
His claims seem to have convinced some of his followers, with one person commenting: “I believe you, I’ve believed you for years.”
A second insists: “He looks identical.”
“You so look like both of them, I hope you get answers soon,” another writes.
Somebody else says: “The resemblance is outstanding. You would make a beautiful king.”
Because it’s been reported the King may visit Australia later this year, it appears Dorante-Day is ramping up his campaign.
According to him, the royal visit presents an ideal occasion for him to initiate legal action, compelling King Charles and Queen Camilla to undergo a paternity test.
The 57-year-old and his wife are reportedly laying the groundwork for their forthcoming court battle.
But Dorante-Day is keeping quiet about the specifics of this new legal challenge.
He tells 7News: “What [legal action] am I going to do this time? Well, I’d be a very silly person that when he comes into the same jurisdiction as me not to do something.
“But I think I’d be even sillier to let that cat out of the bag right now.”
He adds: “We’re hammering in the background.”
Until that day arrives, Dorante-Day will continue to share comparison photos and convince others of his claims.
Recently, he uploaded an image of his daughter, Meriam, who he believes resembles Princess Charlotte, Prince William‘s daughter.
One person writes: “Uncanny. Truly.”
Another adds: “Very, very much alike.”
“They are like sisters,” insists a third follower.
In agreement, a fourth comments: “There is just so much resemblance between them, it’s uncanny!”
